Fr. Ljubomir Rajic will serve the liturgy. 20 Mar 2004 The Divine Liturgy was held on March 20, 2004, 10 a.m., at St. Antonios Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2455 Windsor St. His Grace Georgije, Bishop of Canada visited Halifax for this Divine Liturgy. Mr. Vladimir Pavlov, from Embassy of Serbia and Montenegro in Ottawa spoke to our community as well. Mr. Pavlov is a third secretary and the lead of the consular section for relations with diaspora.

About us

St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Parish in Halifax is the youngest Serbian Parish in Canada. It is a missionary parish, founded on December 26, 2001. with blessings of His Grace Georgije, Bishop of Canada. The parish is the only Serbian Orthodox Parish in Atlantic Canada.

Church Choir

The library accepts donations in form of books, audio and video tapes, CDs etc... The material does not necesarily have to be of religous contents but it must not be opposed to the Orthodox faith.
